What is Electronic Card Test System


Electronic card test systems, also known as electronic card testers or card testing equipment, are specialized devices or systems used to evaluate and validate the performance and functionality of electronic cards or printed circuit boards (PCBs). These systems are commonly used in the electronics manufacturing industry to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components before they are assembled into final products.   1. Functional Testing(FCT): Electronic card test systems are designed to perform functional tests on PCBs or electronic cards. These tests verify that the card operates correctly according to its intended specifications. This can include checking the functionality of various components such as microprocessors, memory, sensors, and interfaces.

  4. In-Circuit Testing (ICT): ICT is a common testing method used in electronic card test systems. It involves probing various test points on the PCB while the board is powered on to assess component values, detect faults, and ensure proper functionality.
